-Favourite local album: Chore - Take my Mask and Breathe - Well produced, well articulated; a bit long, but not a rock opera.
-Local Heroes: I think Chris Briscoe is a local hero for what he is/will/has done for the local music scene.
-Unsung Heroes of the 20th Century: Bill Gates is thought by many (including me) to be this monopolizing tycoon. He has also made computers accessible for almost anyone. It sure don't take long to learn that there windows program.
-The local band to look out for in 2000 is: The Tighties

-Favourite album: Don't laugh..Dolly Parton The grass Is Blue (Sugar Hill/Koch) The voice is weathered but true, the material well-chosen and executed , the pickin' swell. Dolly is the only person who can cover Billy Joel and not make me ill. Really!
-Favourite Local Album: Mark LaForme - True To Form (Act records) If you didn't know these were |Stompin Tom tunes, you'd think the Blasters had reunited. Old farts will dig this the utmost...
